Dear All of Us,
Guess what?
Which really means
I want to share
something special.
My dear wife
just bought me a
great winter jacket.
It's comfy quilted for
warmth and protection.
To boot, it's Blue -
my favorite color.
What a gift.
And hey,
it's not even
Christmas
and
my birthday
is
five months
away.
Speaking of dates,
being eighty-five
and being gifted
with a new jacket
is definitely a
vote of confidence in
my earthly durability!!
It gets better.

so surprisingly
